Bring a treat/toy for the
cats and dogs at
Second Chance Animal Shelter
in Johnstown.
We will make a treat for each of the shelter volunteers to wish them a Merry Christmas.

Count down the days until Christmas with an
Advent Calendar.
We are preparing for
the coming of the Christ child
and we are looking
to the future return of Jesus.
The color of the season is royal purple for our King of Kings.

OUR GOD IS TREE-MENDOUS PROJECT
K-6th grades will create original
Advent "wreath"
from
slices of trees!
Bring your own unbreakable decorations:
nuts, pinecones, dried berries, ribbons,
unbreakable ornaments, bells, garland
Centenary provides:
slice of tree/branch
sandpaper for rough spots
electric votive candles
Advent booklet for 4 Sundays
Adults with staple guns and hot glue.
